| Welcome to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department's online license sales site. From this site, you can purchase hunting and fishing licenses, as well as Unit M Permits, apply for the Moose Lottery, and file your H.I.P. Survey. |

| Before You Start |
The license or lottery application buying process is fairly easy, especially if you have some essential pieces of information ready before you begin.
You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to allow you to view and print your NH license.
Please make sure your printer is in working order, as you will need to print your license once you have completed your purchase- your license will not be mailed to you.
Note: Hunting and fishing license are legal documents intended to be purchased by the licensee. Refunds will not be granted for duplicate licenses purchased by others. When entering your personal information, enter your legal name as it appears on your driver's license.
To purchase a NH hunting license online, you must have held a NH hunting license in the year 2000 or later. This allows us to confirm that hunters meet the hunter education requirements. This requirement also applies to archery licenses. No such requirements apply to fishing licenses or moose lottery applications.
A $3 internet transaction fee will be charged for each purchase, in addition to the license or permit cost.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for the payment of license fees.
This is a good time to get out your driver's license, credit card, a previous NH hunting or archery license since the year 2000, or your current year NH license if you are purchasing additional licenses.
A Note About Refunds: In the event you accidentally purchase more than one license, or have a problem printing your first license and purchase a second license, please be aware that there is no provision within state law that provides the Department with the authority to refund license monies. It is the Department's policy not to issue refunds for licensee errors. For program system error, please contact the Department for review and consideration.
Any amount refunded will be less $1 per license type, a 2.75% credit card fee, and $3 transaction fee.

| General Licensing Information |
A general hunting, fishing or archery license is required for people 16 years of age and over.
Minors: Minors under 16 years of age are required to purchase the following special licenses: Brood Stock Salmon, Special Deer Archery, Turkey, Bear, and Unit M Special Deer Tag. Non-resident minors under the age of 16 are also required to purchase a Muzzleloader license. Minors are not required to pay a Wildlife Habitat Fee or file a Harvest Information Survey (H.I.P.).
Note: When purchasing licenses for minors under 18 years of age who DO NOT hold a valid driver's license or state issued non-driver's photo ID, the parent or legal guardian's driver's license number must be entered. On Moose Lottery Applications ALL applicants must provide their OWN driver's license number or state issued non-driver's photo ID number.
Permanent License Holders: Permanent licenses including, Lifetime, Over Age 68, Disabled Vet, and Paraplegic are not available online. Any secondary licenses (those not covered by the permanent license) may be purchased online.
Fishing Licenses: Fishing licenses allow the taking of all species in the freshwaters of the state, EXCEPT Atlantic Salmon Brood Stock. Temporary 1-Day Fishing Licenses are available to both residents and non-residents. 3 and 7-Day Fishing Licenses are available only to non-residents. Dates for use intended will be requested at the time of purchase and the dates must be consecutive.
Lottery and Permit Applications: A hunting license is not required to apply for the Moose Lottery. However, a current year NH hunting or archery license is required to apply for a Unit M Antlerless Deer Permit for anyone 16 years of age and over.

together with a photo ID whenever you go fishing/hunting.
