- To purchase licenses by mail, send your order with the following:
Name, date of birth (Include a copy of hunter education certificate or card if born after Dec. 31, 1986.)
Complete address, city, state, zip
Height, weight, color of hair and color of eyes
Phone number
Specify the licenses including the season (i.e. deer for muzzleloader)
Send check, money order or credit card number and expiration date for licenses license fees), made payable to Indiana DNR to:

Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. All licenses issued by the DNR are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Most licenses, including youth hunting licenses, are available from independent agents, county clerks and most Department of Natural Resources properties throughout the state. Some independent agents and DNR properties carry non-resident licenses. All licenses are available at the states Customer Service Center in Indianapolis and at most DNR properties. The DNR Customer Service Center is in the Indiana Government Center South, Room W160, 402 W. Washington St., Indianapolis. Service Center hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

- Boat Registration Information
- Boat registration may be done at any local license branch. Bring proof of ownership (such as a watercraft title from the State of Indiana or an out-of-state title).
- Once your watercraft is registered with Indiana, you will be sent a renewal letter which will enable you to register by mail.
