1. What personal information does GreatLodge collect from
you?
GreatLodge collects information in several ways from different parts of
our web site, or the sites of our Partners. Some personal information is
gathered when you purchase our license products as required by related
state laws or requirement from state agencies. Those data must be sent
to the appropriate state agencies. GreatLodge may keep a copy of your
record in our database
so that you can use our GreatLodge
Auto-Fill
feature in your next time purchase -
you do not have to re-enter that information each time you purchase a
hunting or fishing license or other product or service offered by
GreatLodge.
In addition, we may ask you for personal information at
other times, including (but not limited to) when you use our permit
application process or purchase your boat registration. If you contact
GreatLodge we may keep a record of that correspondence. GreatLodge also
occasionally asks users to complete surveys that we use for research
purposes. Wherever GreatLodge collects personal information we make an
effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies and how does GreatLodge use
them?
Cookies can be used in web sites to store and sometimes track information
about you. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your
browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive.
As such your personal account can be accessed, and customizable services
can be offerred and provided.
3. How does GreatLodge, or a Partner site, use your
personal information?
GreatLodge's primary goal in collecting personal information is to
fulfill the requirement of state agency in license applications. Our
second goal is to provide our users with better experience on our site,
or our Partners' sites. This includes personalization services,
technical supports, interactive communications and other services.
By knowing a little about you, GreatLodge is able to deliver more
relevant content and advertisements, and hence better service, to you.
From time to time, you may receive customized reminders, messages and
special offers via e-mail from GreatLodge according to agreements between
GreatLodge and state agencies.
GreatLodge also does research on our users' demographics,
interests, and behavior based on the information provided to us upon
a purchase transaction, during a promotion, from our server log files or
from surveys. We do this to better understand and serve our users. This
research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis. GreatLodge
may share this aggregated (non-personal) data with States, advertisers
or business partners, but it is important to understand that no
personally identifiable information is shared without your consent.
Partner sites are bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy.
4. Who is collecting your personal information?
When you are on GreatLodge or a Partner site and are asked for personal
information, you are sharing that information with GreatLodge and that
one Partner site alone, unless it is specifically stated otherwise.
For example, some GreatLodge services are offered in conjunction with a
Partner company. In order to provide this service to you, it is necessary
for us to share your personal information with our Partner company.
Promotions that run on GreatLodge or it's licensing or other services
appearing on Partner sites may be sponsored by companies other than

Some or all data collected during such a promotion may be shared with
the co-sponsor. You can decide not to participate in the promotion if
you don't want your data to be shared with the co-sponsor. Please be
aware that the web site of our advertisers or web sites that have links

administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain,
service, and improve our products and services.

distribution of my information?
GreatLodge may, from time to time, send you elective e-mail regarding
our products and services. In addition, if we have agreement with
state agency that allow GreatLodge to occasionally send you direct
mail about products and services that we believe may be of interest
to you, we may do so. Only GreatLodge (or agents working on behalf of
GreatLodge and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these

8. How does GreatLodge protect my personal financial
information?
Keeping your personal financial information private is vitally important
to us. As with all personally identifiable information, GreatLodge will
never rent or sell your personal financial information. Knowing that you
use certain services or features may help us to offer you better and more
relevant content and advertisements. But as with all personally
identifiable information, we do not make this available to any third
parties without your permission. Any user statistics that we may provide
to prospective advertisers or partners regarding financial product or
service usage on GreatLodge are provided in the aggregate only and do not
include any personally identifiable information about any individual user.
Please note that there are places on the GreatLodge web site where you
can transmit credit card information in order to complete a purchase
transaction or for verification purposes. Any time we ask for a credit
card number we transmit that credit card number in an encrypted format.
We use industry-standard, SSL (secure socket layer) encryption.
9. What security precautions are in place to protect the
loss, misuse, or alteration of my information?
The usual place that can access users' personal information in our web
site is when using our Auto-Fill feature in license application. We
take additional security measures to pretect that information being
misused. For example, to search by a user's name or social security
number, we require that the date of birth must also be matched.
Please close your browser window when you have finished your transaction.
This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and
correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a
computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed
to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal
information, GreatLodge cannot ensure or warrant the security of any
information you transmit to us or from our online products or services,
and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we
use reasonable efforts consistent with industry standards to ensure its
security on our systems.
10. What else should I know about online
privacy?
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal
information online - for example on message boards, through e-mail, or
in chat areas - that information can be collected and used by others.
In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to
the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in
return. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the
secrecy of your passwords and/or any account information. Please be
careful and responsible whenever you're online.
